This program is all about taking a deep dive into Mary Mackenzie’s book, Peaceful Living: Daily Meditations for Living with Love, Healing and Compassion with the author herself and other Peaceful Living enthusiasts.
If you want to deepen your ability to live NVC on a day-to-day basis, this is the program for you!
Rather than a course that is focused on learning, this program is about being and living NVC in all that life brings you — pain, joy, heartbreak, astonishment — all the needs met and those unmet. And, to do your very best to remain fully awake and present.
It’s easier said than done, right? It’s even harder when done alone.
That’s why this course pulls together several elements to help support you and maximize your experience. It is infused with Mary’s wisdom, community with like-minded people, journaling for those who enjoy journaling, and daily Peaceful Living meditations.
You can expect:
- Participation in one online class per month with Mary— each class will include a short meditation, check-ins, teaching, and breakout rooms
- Daily reading of the Peaceful Living Meditation of the day
- Individual journaling— this is encouraged, but entirely optional
- An ongoing online forum for staying in touch, sharing ideas, etc.--- also encouraged, and also optional
- Participation in one small group "pod" call per month; these pods will be your ongoing support throughout the year
- Connection with an empathy buddy that you meet with as you like (optional)
- Ongoing insights, reflections, and experiences about meditations in the form of written notes, audio clips, or videos from Mary in between sessions
